Thank you to everyone who supported our Potomac dinner and our Alumnus of the Year, Rabbi Nissan Antine, on Sunday, April 29th. The dinner was an outstanding success! The atmosphere was warm and fun, the presentations were moving, and the food was delicious. Stay tuned for pictures and a video of the event.

Rabbi Shmuly Yanklowitz, ordained at YCT in 2010, has made Newsweek's Top 50 Rabbis list as #40 on the list in only his second year as a practicing rabbi. He joins Rabbi Avi Weiss (#11 ) and Rabbi Dov Linzer (#42 ), who have been recognized for the second consecutive year on the list in their capacities as YESHIVAT CHOVEVEI TORAH RABBINICAL SCHOOL's Founder and President and as YCT's Rosh HaYeshiva and Dean, respectively. The article noted that "over the past 10 years, 80 of [YCT's] graduates have been placed in-or have created-significant synagogues, schools, and national organizations, including Shmuly Yanklowitz and New Orleans's Rabbi Uri Topolosky." YCT is truly the source of rabbinic leadership for the Jewish community! |
