This shiur explores the complicated question of how a Jew should respond to the suffering of our enemies.  Should we rejoice and dance in the streets, or show compassion even to the very wicked?  This topic is especially relevant to Passover as this is the time that we celebrate the salvation of the Jews and the demise of their Egyptian foes at the Red Sea.  It is regarding this episode that the primary halakhic and midrashic treatment of this issue arises, particularly surrounding the question of why we recite only half Hallel on Chol Hamoed and the last days of Pesach.
