Charitable gifts to Yeshivat Chovevei Torah may either be current or deferred, and unrestricted or restricted.
A current gift is any gift transferred immediately from the donor to the school. Such gifts are among the tax planning options available to taxpayers who itemize their deductions. Current gifts can be in the form of outright transfer of cash, securities, tangible or intangible personal property, real estate or insurance. Unrestricted gifts are especially valuable to YCT because they provide the flexibility needed to achieve ongoing objectives and implement strategic planning priorities. Unrestricted funds also provide the resources to cover the cost of educational programs and activities that are not entirely financed by other support or revenues. Restricted gifts benefit specific schools or programs chosen by the donor. Funds may be designated for any of the Yeshiva's activities of particular interest to the donor such as scholarships, faculty enrichment, academic and research programs, and enhancement of facilities. We truly welcome your support.
